Instructor Terms and Marketplace Participation

Baseline expectations for instructor applications, course review, and marketplace participation.

Last updated: October 14, 2026

This page summarizes baseline expectations for instructor applicants and course contributors. It is not a complete instructor agreement and does not establish a revenue-share, tax, payout, or exclusivity commitment. Before accepting paid instructor courses, TechWithDB and each instructor must agree to a separate written agreement covering those terms.

Applications and approval

Submitting an application does not guarantee approval, publication, sales, or payment. TechWithDB may request information needed to review an application and may reject or pause an application or course for quality, rights, security, legal, or operational reasons.

Rights and content quality

You must own or have permission to submit and commercially distribute every part of your course, including text, diagrams, code, images, and other assets. Identify third-party material and follow its license. Do not include secrets, private data, malware, or instructions that encourage unlawful activity. Submitted course content may be reviewed before publication.

You retain rights in your original content. If a course is accepted, you must grant TechWithDB a written license sufficient to host, display, market, and deliver it to authorized learners. The scope, duration, territories, and termination effects of that license must be stated in the separate instructor agreement.

Commercial terms and payouts

No instructor share, payout date, minimum balance, tax treatment, or payment obligation is created by this summary. These terms must be stated in the separate agreement before a course is offered for sale. Instructors are responsible for providing accurate tax and identity information where lawfully required. TechWithDB may need to withhold publication or payouts until required verification is complete.

The current platform records gross instructor allocations and external payout references; it does not calculate all provider fees, taxes, refunds, chargebacks, or adjustments, and does not automatically transfer funds. Accounts must be reconciled before any manual payout.
